Something is not working
The app will not start
Section titled “The app will not start”On Mac, it opens and closes immediately, or says it is damaged. You almost certainly have the wrong build for your chip. See Install on Mac — the wrong file does not run at all.
On Windows, nothing happens when you install. The download did not finish. Delete the file and get it again from rungbot.com.
It will not connect
Section titled “It will not connect”Work through Connect your Polymarket account first — most connection problems are the key rather than the network.
If the key is right and login still fails, check that polymarket.com opens in your browser. Logging in is one request to Polymarket, so if the site is down, RungBot cannot connect either.
My order was rejected
Section titled “My order was rejected”Not enough balance. The balance in the connect window is what you can actually use. An order larger than that is refused before it reaches the book.
The market closed. Markets settle, and orders in a settled market are rejected.
The price moved. If the market moved while your order was on its way, it can come back rejected. Look at where the price is now and place it again.
Prices are not updating
Section titled “Prices are not updating”The market data connection dropped, usually because your internet did. Close the ladder and open it again to reconnect.
If your connection is unstable, watch the last-traded highlight in the price column — if it has not moved on an active market for a long time, you are looking at stale prices. Do not trade on them.
Sending us a log file
Section titled “Sending us a log file”Logs are off by default. Turn them on in the settings window with Write log, restart RungBot, and reproduce the problem. Then find the file here:
- Windows:
%APPDATA%\RungBot.App\ - Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/RungBot.App/
Attach it in Discord and describe what you were doing when it went wrong.
