Install on Windows

Download
Section titled “Download”Get the installer from rungbot.com/download/win-x64/latest.
The file is an .msix package, about 24 MB.
Install
Section titled “Install”Double-click the downloaded file. Windows opens App Installer and shows the publisher name and the version. Press Install.
Installation takes a few seconds. RungBot then appears in your Start menu.
Where your settings are kept
Section titled “Where your settings are kept”Your settings, your saved account details and the log files live in:
%APPDATA%\RungBot.App\Paste that into the address bar of any Explorer window to open it. The folder survives updates and reinstalls, so you do not lose your setup.
Updates
Section titled “Updates”RungBot checks for a new version once, when the connect window opens. If one is available it offers to install it.
There is no background update timer, and this is deliberate: an update replaces the running program, and there is no safe moment to do that while you have orders resting in the book.
If Windows will not install it
Section titled “If Windows will not install it”“This app package is not signed” or the Install button does nothing. The download did not finish, or the file was changed on the way. Delete it and download again. An unsigned package cannot be installed at all — not even with a warning — so this always means a broken file, never a setting you need to change.
A SmartScreen warning appears. Check that the publisher shown in App Installer is the one you expect, then continue.
